Several Books I Would Like

Several Books I Would Like

Great idea, Chris. I have several I would like to learn about and from others. A couple of them are Professional Capital (Hargreaves and Fullan) and How to Create a Culture of Achievement in your school and classroom (Fisher, Frey, and Pumpian). I think it would be fun to do Visible Learning for TEachers - (Hattie) and have educators share ways they are implementing the best practices in their classrooms.

That is a great list. I would also add Focus by Schmoker and Productive Group Work by Fisher and Frey.

I just bought How to Create a Culture of Achievement in your school and classrooms and am really enjoying it! I would love to hear what others think of that one! I also have Professional Capital in my amazon cart and am hoping to get started on it in late July and that would be another that I would enjoy talking about!

Thanks for starting this book club!

Another book I just got is Learning Targets. Wow - sounds like we are getting some great ideas. You will have to help me with the voting.
